As a grant writer at the University of Virginia Institute for Substance Abuse Studies, I worked on 7 grants, serving as the Senior Writer and Project Development Coordinator on 3; on a further 4, in addition to these roles, I also served as a member of the Project Development Team. Grant awards totalled over $550,000.
At PRA International, a CRO (Contract Research Organization) during 2 separate stints I was "on loan" to assist the proposals and business development groups as a writer and editor. I contributed to several proposals, writing and editing strategic overviews, and on others I edited the entire proposal.
More recently I assisted Goldberg Consulting with planning and development of a proposal summary, providing research, consulting, writing, and editorial services.
